Wintering

During the winter months, when the cold of New England can be harsh and relentless, I find solace in the practice of wintering. Instead of merely surviving, I embrace the intimacy and isolation of the season. This time of year reminds me to align myself with the rhythm of nature, and I start to appreciate a different aesthetic within the stark beauty of a landscape shorn of color.
